Youth Spotlight: Taliyah Haywood — A Young Artist with a Powerful Voice

In this month’s special issue of Affluence: Financial Fitness for Women, themed Black Art as Investment, we’re proud to shine our Youth Artist Spotlight on an extraordinary young talent: Taliyah Haywood. At just 9 years old, Taliyah is already proving that art is not just a creative outlet—it’s a legacy.

Born on October 1, 2015, in Tampa, Florida, Taliyah radiates pure creative energy. Her journey into the world of art began at the age of two, with a simple act of finger painting at a birthday party. Since that moment, her passion has only grown—transforming from playful exploration into a powerful medium for self-expression and storytelling.

Taliyah’s artwork is more than paint on canvas—it’s a reflection of her heart, her spirit, and her belief in the power of beauty. Whether she’s illustrating her own books, drawing love letters for her family, or decorating her parents’ offices with colorful masterpieces, her creations are infused with joy, love, and a refreshing sense of wonder.

This month, as we explore the concept of art as an investment, Taliyah reminds us that some of the greatest investments we can make are in the gifts of our children. Investing in their creativity, encouraging their curiosity, and supporting their dreams today lays the foundation for the artists, entrepreneurs, and visionaries of tomorrow.

But Taliyah isn’t just an artist—she’s a force. She sings, dances, plays sports, cooks, and carries herself with the kind of strength and boldness that mirrors the brightest Black women creators we feature throughout this issue. Her versatility is inspiring, and her voice—through color, line, and imagination—is loud and clear.

At Affluence, we believe in nurturing the next generation of storytellers, and Taliyah Haywood is a shining example of what happens when talent, love, and encouragement come together. Her work is already leaving a mark—and we can’t wait to see how far she’ll go.

To Taliyah: We see you. We celebrate you. And we’re cheering for you, always.

Don’t miss her exclusive feature in this month’s issue of Affluence: Financial Fitness for Women.

Because the future of Black art—and Black wealth—starts with young visionaries like her.
